Before you join us for breakfast, a meal, or to stay; we’d like to tell you a little more about ourselves. Why aren’t our rooms extra large, why there isn’t a second chair in the room, and why our staff are always immaculately turned out?
Well! We’ve thought through every last detail, from teaspoon to bedside lamp, from cushion to coffee cup; and from each staff member to each television. Our hotel rooms have the best beds, a fantastic rainfall shower, and WiFi. We think those are the most important starting points for a great hotel. If you’re at the Post-Plaza, you’re in the middle of the city of Leeuwarden, and you won’t want to spend all your time in a hotel room! This will hold especially true once you’ve seen our Grand Café.

In the Grand Café you’ll find an open kitchen preparing hearty fare all throughout the day. From a Frisian ‘wentelteefje’ (French toast) for breakfast, to a classic Alsatian flammkuchen for lunch, and to a glorious beef-steak or oyster dish for dinner.
