Welcome to Vegotel, an environmentally friendly hotel that serves an all-day vegan breakfast including cold cuts, cheese and other dairy products (thanks to the modern meat substitutes and dairy products). Located in a farmhouse build in 1885 on the Zeedijk in Blije next to the beautiful Wadden Sea area. Peace and space to enjoy and recover from all your daily stress.
The Wadden Sea area has recently been voted the most beautiful nature location in the Netherlands. A beautiful area for cycling and walking. Only 8 minutes away from Dokkum and 20 minutes from Leeuwarden and the A31 towards Amsterdam. Peace and space to enjoy. The Vegotel concept:
1 Ecological: We only use solar energy. Our interior is ecofriendly as much as possible, partly through the use of sustainable materials and second-hand furniture. Biodegradable cleaning and care products and the most important, a fully vegan breakfast and lunch. Next to this electric car and E-bike rental is possible at Vegotel.
2 Our vegan breakfast, Dutch, Full English or French.

We have two Vegotel rooms, one luxurious and one basic room. Both have free internet, tea and coffee facilities and a beautiful view over the meadows. A Dutch breakfast is included in the price, a Full English or French breakfast is also possible. Both rooms have direct access to the bathroom, if only one room is rented the bathroom is fully private. A full board holiday is also possible for our Vegan guests and we provide a list with local vegan restaurants. For the groceries we work together with the Ekoplaza Leeuwarden, an organic supermarket with a wide range of vegan products. Bicycle, E-bike and electric car rental is also possible.
