Berltsum
Koepelkerk in Berltsum, both the church and the organ are national monuments.
The current Koepelkerk with its octagonal dome was built in 1779 in Berltsum because the previous church had become too dilapidated to be restored.
Both the church and the organ are now national monuments. The church was repainted inside and out in 2015.
The bell of the Koepelkerk was restored in December 2017 as it was at risk of cracking. When the bell was lifted, attendees were invited to guess its weight. The person with the closest estimate was allowed to accompany the crane to the top to hang the restored bell back in place. This happened on December 13, 2017. After the restoration, the bell and clapper were weighed, totaling 1074 kg.
