The wooded parkland around the country house on the Fogelsangh State estate is absolutely enchanting. It brought fame to the landscape architect who designed it.

The famous landscape architect Lucas Pieters Roodbaard designed the gardens here. Though to call it a garden doesn’t really do it justice. This is a wonderful setting in which to stroll. You almost expect to find a young woman reciting poetry on the banks of the lake. :-)
And of course you have to walk across the little Y bridge. But which way will you go?
