Marenland Recreation consists of a campsite, cabins, Scandinavian cottages, a hotel, marina, canoe rental, electric boats, stand-up paddleboarding, and sightseeing boats, as well as group facilities. Situated beautifully along the Winsumerdiep, adjacent to the picturesque village of Winsum and on (ANWB) canoe, cycling, and hiking trails (including the Pieterpad). Centrally located between the Lauwersmeer and the city of Groningen. Our range of various leisure products provides a great opportunity to explore the numerous possibilities in one of Europe's oldest cultural landscapes. This landscape museum offers plenty of activities for active leisure seekers, nature enthusiasts, and those interested in culture and historical-agricultural elements. The restaurant "De Jongens uit de buurt" is also located on the grounds of Marenland, where you can enjoy a meal while the children play in the playground.
