Noarderleech Visitor Centre

If you plan to hike through the Noard-Fryslân Bûtendyks salt marshes, be sure to start at the Noarderleech Visitor Centre to make the most of your visit. The centre informs visitors about the nature and history of the coastal landscape of North Friesland.

Knooppunt 68
- Tjeerd Thijssenstraat in (rechterkant van het water), richting [knp 33]. Na huisnummer 36 linksaf de brug over en rechts de Van Albadaweg op. Op kruising in Nieuwebildtzijl rechtdoor (’t Buttendykswechy). Volg betonpad tot de Zeedijk.
Knooppunt 33
- Hier rechtsaf naar [knp 34], even verderop. knooppunt 34. Vanaf hier kunt u op verschillende manieren naar [knp 13]: over de dijk, de weg of via de wandelroute Butendyks. Voor die laatste optie: gele paaltjes van It Fryske Gea volgen.
Knooppunt 13
- Volg de Zeedijk richting [knp 14]
Richting knooppunt 14
- Voor knooppunt 14 linksaf (Zeedijk). De oorspronkelijke route (rechts over de Vijfhuisterdijk) is voor onbepaalde tijd afgesloten. Loop de Zeedijk af tot de Westerhuslanne aan rechterhand, deze ingaan en lopen tot de Hoge Herenweg, hier rechts. Hoge Herenweg uitlopen tot splitsing in Hallumerhoek, daar rechts Roodschuursterlaan in. Ga verderop met de bocht mee naar links (Vijfhuisterdijk). U loopt dan weer op de oorspronkelijke route, tot aan [knp 46].

- Hier rechtsaf de Monnikenbildtdijk op. Volg de weg tot [knp 68] in Oudebildtzijl.
