100 years ago, fish swam here. Now, you’ll find hedgehogs, rabbits, foxes, owls, buzzards, and roe deer. Surrounded by a very diverse and large forest. And listen: in the evening, you’re treated to the honking of hundreds of migrating geese as they pass through.
A surprising camping opportunity among trees, shrubs, and... natural forest inhabitants. A different world from what you’re used to. Whether with a tent, camper, or caravan, or mooring your boat at one of the docks, because the forest calls! The site is opposite a waterway that winds through the forest. For cyclists (and their bikes), I’ve set up a fully equipped shelter. This is a nature campsite, so no noisy rides or bouncy castles, but there’s still plenty going on. Small activities include outdoor theater (everyone can join in), thematic performances, exhibitions, midsummer celebrations, or a silent disco (only audible to those who wish).
Our nature campsite is open year-round, including during the quiet winter months. It is designed for walkers, cyclists, campers (sometimes special ones like this Citroën HY), caravans, and pleasure boats. We accommodate everyone, with each getting their own space—large for large, small for small, campers with campers, caravans with caravans, bungalow tents together in the main field (with or without 220V), and hiker tents on one of the hiker fields: Fluweelmos, Kiekendief, or Fluitenkruid. This way, everyone can enjoy with respect for nature and each other.
